The spark of the idea that is now ITK ignited when co-founders Chris Fibbe and Sam Coluccio reconnected in a parking lot in Beverly, Massachusetts. Chris and Sam had worked together before. Chris was running his own software consulting company working closely with Sam, who was busy establishing himself as a process expert on the software solutions side. Sam would establish his process credentials as the architect of Microsoft’s Software Implementation Process Methodology known as SureStep. While Chris at the time had just sold his company to a Private Equity firm.
